In the scaffolding industry, the scaffold base jack is a necessary part. What is a scaffolding jack base? Why it is needed? What are the sizes and types? You will get answers in this article.
The scaffolding base jack is scaffold feet designed for levelling the scaffold on uneven ground, called levelling jacks or scaffold feet. It is a combination of a threaded stem, a base plate and a jack nut.
The threaded stem of the scaffold base jack must be positioned within the scaffold verticals (the scaffold legs or posts) during construction. To adjust the scaffolding vertically and achieve a level horizontal position, turn the jack base nut to raise or lower the scaffolding as needed.
